What you'll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPO
Be at least 21 years of age
Valid Class A commercial driver's license
Safe driving record and history
Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
Available to work a flexible schedule of up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night, and weekend shifts
Preferred qualifications:
Forklift experience

What you'll do on a typical day:
Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples
Deliver excellent customer service, including generating sales leads
Load and unload freight efficiently
Truck Drivers will be required to:
Lift objects up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally more than 75 lbs.
Move and position a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.
Climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer safely
Sit for extended periods in a truck tractor or on a forklift
Walk and stand for lengthy durations on various surfaces, including outdoors in different weather conditions
Reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed
Operate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours across all weather conditions, hauling hazardous/non-hazardous materials safely

Eligible participants hired during this program will receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Terminating before 12 months of continuous employment will require repayment of the full sign-on bonus, while leaving between 12 and 24 months may require 50% repayment. Bonuses will be issued according to the company's regular payroll schedule after 30 days of employment. Current XPO employees are not eligible for sign-on bonuses.
A retention bonus of $2,500 will be granted to eligible participants who complete 6 months of continuous employment, with an additional $2,500 available after 12 months. Bonuses are subject to applicable taxes. Other conditions apply. Current XPO employees are not eligible for retention bonuses.
