Shifts Available:
1 Day Shift
2 Night Shifts
Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, typically 3 days a week, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Signing Bonus: $5,000 to $7,500 depending on experience
Relocation Package: Partial relocation assistance is available
About the Position: Virtus Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our partner's team at a community hospital in Middlebury, VT. This facility offers a diverse range of patients, providing a challenging and rewarding work environment. While there is no ICU, the Respiratory Therapist will play a crucial role in delivering quality care to a broad patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and provide patient education.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
Maintain and operate respiratory equipment.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an AMA-approved program for Respiratory Care.
Must obtain the State of Vermont Respiratory Therapy Licensure before the start date.
Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligibility to take the NBRC written examination within one year of hire.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are preferred.
At least one year of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
