SCOPE Recruiting.com is on the lookout for a dedicated Tactical Purchasing Manager to join our growing team. In this pivotal position, you will focus on executing procurement strategies that align with our operational goals and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of strategic insight and hands-on execution skills, making them a valuable contributor to our procurement team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement tactical purchasing strategies to procure materials and supplies efficiently.
Monitor market trends and evaluate supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimize costs and mitigate risk.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and control costs through effective purchasing practices.
Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a focus on tactical purchasing strategies.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and analytical tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
