Role Summary:
We are seeking an Assembly Technician II to prepare pump assemblies, perform testing, and conduct pump disassembly and reassembly during repair processes. The role requires precision assembly work, proficiency in operating precision measuring tools, troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues, and participating in Continuous Improvement Process activities. This position demands a results-oriented approach and a sharp eye for detail.
Complete pump assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required
Operate various precision measuring tools and hand tools in a warehouse environment
Demonstrate advanced understanding of inspection equipment and ensure all parts and assemblies are within specifications
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal safety equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly
Calculate basic mathematical functions and convert measurements
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant experience
Basic computer aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office Package
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Experience / Skills:
High School Diploma/GED
Workshop experience
Knowledge of automation control and electrical components
