Lhoist North America, a major supplier of lime, limestone, and minerals products to the North American marketplace, is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join the team at their Ripplemead, VA facility.
This is a role where you will be working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.

Primary Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot problems in electrical circuits, electric motors, starters, VFD's, Soft-Starters and Instrumentation (temperature, draft/pressure, level, flow)
Perform daily inspection and calibration as needed of process control equipment and environmental compliance equipment.
Specify and install replacement and new (application's) process equipment and components.
Capable of programming and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLC's) to include A-B/Rockwell PLC5, ControlLogic, DeviceNet, and ControlNet
Must be able to perform mechanical PMs and repairs to the following equipment:
Screw conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, Raymond mills, screens, general bearing installation, reducer maintenance and installation, stationary equipment lubrication.
Perform all work assigned in a neat and orderly manner, adhering to company governmental safety rules and regulations.
Report any potential operational or safety problems to supervision.
Know and follow lock out/ tag out procedures.
Must have high regard for other's safety in the field.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform all tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
