Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Developer with experience in Java 8, J2EE, and AWS.
You will integrate a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.
Developers have a dedication for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.

Responsibilities:

Designing Enterprise Solution using Java, JEE, Spring Boot, and related Java Technology stack.
Work on Design Patterns and develop highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using MicroServices.
Experience in Java Spring Boot implementations and work with DevOps, AWS.
Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL.
Work on implementation of Industry Standard protocols related API Security including OAuth.
Good written, verbal communication, documentation skills, must be analytical and self-motivated, work Effectively within a distributed team environment, and effective Client communication.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 6+ years of IT experience implementing Java 8, J2EE, and related Java technologies.
Working and Hands on experience on AWS, DevOps, and gained experience in design patterns.
Experience in implementing Java Spring Boot, Java 8, Multithreading, and Microservices.
Proficiency in Advanced SQL.
Good exposure and dynamic experience working on AWS Cloud and integrations.
Strong hands-on experience on Spring core and Spring JPA.
Experienced in using GIT, Maven, and CI/CD - Jenkins.
Familiar with Agile delivery process.

Desired:

Knowledge of Spark.
Oracle Java Certification is a plus.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $90K - $114K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
