Inizio Engage is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative Biotechnology company as a Vaccine Sales Specialist. In this role, you will work towards achieving sales and activity targets by engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs), hospitals, and clinics across your designated territory. Your contributions will not only drive orders but also influence the sales process through establishing strong relationships with contracted customers, including group purchasing organizations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Gaining a thorough understanding of Covid-19 products and related disease areas to support meaningful discussions with medical professionals.
Partnering with internal resources such as Medical and Customer Care to influence HCPs.
Effectively engaging HCPs, hospitals, and clinics to drive and process orders through direct sales or GPOs.
Building strong business relationships through proactive communication via phone and in-person meetings.
Utilizing clinical and technical expertise to capture valuable customer insights.
Adapting to organizational changes and embracing new therapeutic areas and channels of business.
Networking effectively to expand reach and engagement with stakeholders through various communication methods.
Identifying and prioritizing opportunities to enhance access, policy, programs, and processes that drive product demand.
Conducting thorough and compliant in-depth promotional communications with targeted healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate records and data entry related to customer interactions and follow-up actions.
Developing and managing a targeted list of healthcare professionals to maximize product volume.
Ensuring adherence to call productivity and metrics as established by the client.
Managing daily sales activities to optimize time and meet sales and market share objectives.
Actively listening to customer needs to facilitate the acceptance of your sales objectives.
Maintaining expert knowledge of the product line, including competitive insights.
Completing all required training for the client's products to effectively engage with customers.
Communicating timely and effectively with leadership regarding all relevant matters.
Creating a positive impression with the client and its customers.
Implementing sales strategies in line with regulatory requirements and client policies.
Safeguarding patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of B2B sales or account management experience
A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology
Proven vaccine sales experience is a must
Ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels within an account-based selling environment
Team-oriented approach
Strong understanding of government programs (e.g., VFC) and CDC immunization schedules
Pediatric experience preferred
Familiarity with hospital purchasing processes is advantageous
Experience in hybrid environments (virtual and face-to-face) to influence customers
Proven track record of success in fast-paced sales environments
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strong negotiation capabilities
Documented history of sales achievements
Willingness to travel as required for territory coverage
