Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse for a part time, day shift position in Charlottesville, VA. This position is 16 hours per week. The Wound Ostomy RN can expect to see up to 11 patients per shift across the hospital and will be a resource for education for new ostomy patients. The schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, day shift.

Wound Ostomy Registered Nurses provide advanced treatments that maximize the body's capacity to heal chronic and complexwounds. Our multidisciplinary team includes vascular specialists, general and plastic surgeons,and diabetes and nutrition experts. After comprehensive evaluation, our team offers ongoingassessments and the latest treatment for chronic, complex, or non-healing wounds, includingHyperbaric Oxygen Treatment. Our caring and compassionate team works closely with providersat other healthcare facilities and home health services to ensure you receive seamless,coordinated care.

Requirements:

1 year of clinical experience
BSN Required
Registered Nurse Licensure
Board Certification by the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing board within 2 years of hire
BLS within 90 days of hire
Experience with complex wounds preferred.

Job Summary

To provide acute and rehabilitative care to people with selected disorders. Serve as a resource in specialty services.

BSN required. Board certification by the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board or obtain certification within two year of hiring.

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Nursing (Required)
