Specialized solution engineering arm of the Global Solution architecture group focused on supporting proactive and reactive solution sales pursuits for Accentures Google Business Group globally with focus on NA market.

The Work
We are looking for a specialized technology practitioner with deep database engineering skills and very architecture focussed exposure for GCP.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for understanding client context, proactively engaging with the client in shaping how their GCP implementation for the Data stack would be solutioned and instantiated.

Main Responsibilities:

Solution Architect leading the Database engineering on GCP.

• Should be GCP certified for Professional Cloud Certification or Data Engineer certification
• Very familiar with architecting and delivering on GCP cloud native databases - CloudSQL, AlloyDB, Atlas, Firestore
• Well versed with the Google and third party tools and assets for Cloud engineering on Google and for Database Migration ( DMS, Cloud Vizer)
• The suitable candidate will need to collaborate with the larger solution team in bringing niche Google specific technology differentiation and work hand in hand with Google partner engineers
• Should work on creating backlog for Asset led development and Migration in the Database engineering space
• Ideal candidate is one who should have led the solutioning on GCP for atleast 3-4 large scale implementations, participated in client discovery assessments.
  
• This role requires to be interfacing with client and Google very closely, leading the initial blue print/foundation phases.
  Should have very good written and verbal communication skills .
  

Travel may be required for this role.
The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Heres what you need
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the following:

• GCP implementations covering the Database engineering stack of CloudSQL, Alloy DB, Atlas.
  
• Proven ability to solution deals grounds up with focus on technology, overall TCO.
  
• Proven track record in solutioning > 10 M USD deals with Database engineering focus.
  

Google Coud certification for Professional Cloud Architect and Data Engineer.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
(If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus points if you have

• Delivery experience in leading such large Google Cloud Database migrations.
  
• ML engineer certification on GCP.
  

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
