Management Analyst III - Maintenance Availability Company Overview:

Essential functions:

Provide Engineering and Technical support coordinating all matters relating to preparation, review and approval of Ship Certification correspondence for Fast Cruise and Sea Trials, Follow-On certifications and URO certifications.
Coordinates routing and processing of all ship certification documents for concurrence and approval signatures
Assists and coordinates the reviews and updates of daily administration reports and performs routine office operations.
Maintain Program documentation ensure all certification requirement documentation is updated as directed by Program Manager.

Required education and experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or related work experience is required.
Operational submarine experience and Maintenance Shipyard experience is preferred.

Preferred education and experience:

Experience with Submarine systems and related support equipment.
Knowledge of documentation used to operate and maintain submarine systems.

Competencies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, customers, suppliers, and visitors.
Must be highly reliable and demonstrate personal initiative to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Additional eligibility requirementsWork authorization/security clearance requirements:

Active Secret clearance is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

The typical workday is eight hours in length, normal hours are 7:30 AM-3:30PM. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. The employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and must account for the hours in a pay period to maintain full-time status.

Telework:

Telework is not allowed for this position. However, that may change based on customer requirements.

Travel:

No travel is expected with this position, however, may be required at direction of NAVSEA customer.
