Proposal Specialist III

AECOM is seeking a experienced Proposal Specialist III West region Marketing Team. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules with an expectation to go into an AECOM office at least 2 times a week and can be based out of but not limited to Denver CO; Phoenix AZ or Salt Lake City UT.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Spearhead the endtoend proposal development process from initial RFP/RFQ analysis to final submission
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather technical information and craft compelling clientfocused proposals
Develop and maintain proposal templates content libraries and best practices documentation
Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards
Analyze win/loss data to refine proposal strategies and improve success rates
Mentor junior proposal team members and provide guidance on best practices
Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and persuasive technical content
Conduct thorough reviews and edits of proposals to ensure consistency clarity and compliance with RFP requirements
Develop executive summaries past performance narratives and other key proposal components
Stay current with industry trends competitive landscapes and client needs to inform proposal strategies

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS 4years of experience collaborating within a marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of experience in proposal writing and management with a proven track record of successful submissions
Advanced proficiencyin Adobe InDesign
Prior experience in the AEC industry
Advanced proficiency in proposal writing editing and project management
Strong analytical skills for RFP/RFQ analysis and datadriven decision making
Expertlevel proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Experience with proposal management software and data visualization tools
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification preferred
Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and standards
Willingness to work extended hours during peak proposal periods when necessary
