the Production Worker Position with Boart Longyear! Are you a quick learner, ready to hit the ground running? We are seeking a talented individual who can seamlessly adapt to our rapid-paced machining environment.
This is a graphite/carbon environment and we will provide on the job training.
Key duties include.
Availability for overtime is obligatory when required.
The candidate should be able to produce product using hand & eye coordination, read & follow work instructions, basic quality inspection of own work and perform work safely.
Ability to meet production goals for quality and quantity.
Follow establish work instructions.
High priority on having safe and clean workspaces.
Qualifications:
Understanding of manufacturing and production procedures.
Be on your feet the full shift and lift up to 40 lbs regularly Effective communication includes active listening and taking instructions.
Be on feet all day, lift 40lbs on a regular basis, comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Team player able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without confusion.
Hard worker, intensely driven, determined, goal-oriented, and intrinsically motivated.
Basic math skills, basic computer literacy.
Able to do repetitive tasks, able to keep up with the flow of the team.
