Job Summary

The Utah Lions Eye Bank, located in Murray, Ut, is a nonprofit organization and has facilitated the gift of sight worldwide through transplantation and research since 1972. By restoring vision, cornea donation changes not only the lives of recipients, but also the lives of everyone around them. The Donation and Training Supervisor assists the Call Center supervisor in leading the day-to-day activities of the Eye Bank Call Center, including training and education, case reviews and reporting.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Performs initial, annual and as-needed training of staff

-Ensures that call center activities are performed according to policy and regulatory standards

-Reviews case activity for policy and data entry compliance

-Reviews QVS call data and provides recommended adjustments, as needed

-Prepares weekly and month DCC reports

-Participates in Shift Supervisor meetings

-Prepares training material and routinely presents at monthly staff meetings.

-Works with area leaders to propose and test adjustments to policies and procedures

-Fills in as a Shift Supervisor as needed.

-Attends and participates in key stakeholder meetings, e. g. Case review, DCC /DonorConnect meetings, etc. )

-Participate in QA-related meetings and CAPA initiatives.

-Assist with AOC Rotation as needed.

-Performed additional projects or tasks as assigned by Call Center Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
