Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies of the organization.
This is a Women Services Department of Nursing Service position specializing in the Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post Partum.
This position provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have valid Utah nursing license or compact state license.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.
STABLE within 1 year and NRP within 1 year of hire.
If past due or expired will have 60 days to bring up to date.
