We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping department at a luxury hotel in Salt Lake City. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading housekeeping teams in upscale or luxury environments and will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through rigorous cleaning standards, operational efficiency, and staff leadership. This is a high-impact role that involves managing a large-scale operation while maintaining the personalized service that guests expect from a luxury hotel.Responsibilities

Lead and train housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness and luxury standards in guest rooms and public areas.
Streamline housekeeping operations during peak times to ensure efficient room turnovers and guest readiness.
Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing complaints and special requests with professional follow-up.
Develop and motivate housekeeping staff through performance evaluations and ongoing training to create a high-performance team.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
Manage housekeeping inventory and supplies, overseeing stock levels and controlling costs.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform VIP room inspections to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury experience for guests.
Manage the housekeeping budget to meet financial goals, controlling labor costs and payroll.
Prepare daily and monthly housekeeping reports on performance, room turnover, and inventory levels.
Develop long-term housekeeping strategies, including department improvements and project initiatives.
Conduct regular hotel inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments to improve communication and guest satisfaction.
Maintain and monitor housekeeping equipment, ensuring all tools are functional and efficiently used.
Ensure employee development by hiring, training, and supervising housekeeping staff to boost employee satisfaction and productivity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
2+ years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel setting.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with proven ability to manage large teams and high-volume operations.
Proficiency in managing budgets, payroll, and scheduling within hotel operations.
Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with Opera or similar hotel property management systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
Ability to analyze and prepare data using computer systems, with a strong focus on cost control and productivity metrics.
Due to visa restrictions, at the moment we are only accepting candidates from Mexico and Canada. The limitation on Mexican and Canadian nationals is a legal requirement tied to the specifics of the TN visa, not a preference of the employer.

Benefits

Relocation bonus of $2,500 to cover:

TN Visa sponsorship for qualified candidates from Mexico and Canada.
Flight from home city to the U.S.

General:

Competitive salary: $60,000 -$70,000 USD annually (negotiable depending on profile).
5% bonus based on performance
All managers are eligible for DTO (Discretionary Time Off) after 90 days of continuous employment.
