Description: $5300/wk, 126,000 square foot, state-of-the-art hospital with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an eight-bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit. The only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area. 16-bed emergency department open around the clock. Surgery department has six major operating rooms and two endoscopy suites, plus a modern cardiac catheterization unit.
Job Requirements Required Certifications: CNOR preferred
Required Education: RN License
Must Have Skills/Experience: Be willing to be hands on. Seasoned Director that understands entire OR Preop, PACU, SPD, and Endo.
Schedule Information Call Schedule: OR takes call 3-6:30 (crew comes in 6:30)
OR is on call 24/7 (weekends and holidays)
Elective surgery on weekends: No, but will do cases if they come in.
Unit Specific Information Number of OR Suites: 6
Types of cases: Ortho, General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, and ENT will be coming back for ENT cases
Who runs the board? One of the OR nurses. The director would need to make sure the right person does the board.
