After a very successful year of grant writing, Pink Ribbon Good is adding two grant writers to the team.
If you are an exceptional and experienced grant writer capable of being responsible for all aspects of the grant life cycle who loves the thrill of writing a fantastic grant proposal and can't wait to check your inbox or mailbox to see if you've been awarded the grant, you just might be our new Senior Grant Manager.

• Work collaboratively with staff in our regional locations to gather information and background materials for proposals, funder updates and grant reporting.
  This includes, but not limited to researching grant opportunities, managing timelines and project milestones, editing documents and serving as the lead writer on regional grants up to $100,000 for assigned regions.
• Proofreading and copy-editing grant proposals under tight deadlines.
  Provide assistance to the Director, Grants & Foundation Relations on regional grants above $100,000.
• Work with the Finance team to provide precise and complete financial reporting.
  In conjunction with the Director of Programming, maintain current demographic data as well as information trends in the breast and gynecological cancer space to utilize in grant applications.
• Prepare well written case statements for new projects or funding priorities under the supervision of PRG's Director, Grants & Foundation Relations.
  Work together to set quarterly, annual and long-term strategies to support PRG's overall mission.
• Manage a calendar for deliverables throughout the grant cycle including maintaining and managing PRG's historical grant tracking system to ensure that all grant application materials, communications, and award/declination information is saved and organized in the grant tracking system.
• Strive to build long-term relationships with current and prospective grant funders and create meaningful ways to engage with the work of PRG including scheduling calls and meetings with current and prospective funders.
• Achieve the annual fundraising goal for corporate and foundation giving, as agreed upon in strategy planning.
• Assist with the development of the annual report, quarterly funder updates and complete other writing projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in related field from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• 5 years minimum experience in grant writing or professional writing with a track record of proven grant writing procurement and 'best practices' in grant management.
  Exhibiting strong initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve goals.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
  Ability to manage multiple projects while being highly organized and showing a commitment to teamwork knowing this position will work with a diverse group of people and organizations.
• Relationship building in both written and verbal communication.
• Must be flexible, able to work under pressure and meet all deadlines.
• Exceptional written, spoken, virtual and interpersonal communication skills.
• Competent working with numbers and being able to work with national and regional budgets.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and experience with Raiser's Edge NXT helpful.
• Have a passion for PRG's mission.

This is a full time position with hours 9am to 4:
30pm Monday through Friday.
If located near PRG headquarters in Dayton, Ohio, this would be a hybrid position.
If located in one of our other existing regions (Cincinnati, Columbus, St.Louis, San Francisco or Buffalo) or 2 emerging regions (Louisville, Nashville) the position would be fully remote.
Preference given to qualified applicants residing close to St.
Louis or San Francisco

This position reports directly to the Director, Grants & Foundation Relations.
