THE ROLE

McDonald Building Company is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide construction management support services for all phases of the construction project including project mobilization support, agency reporting, project compliance & subcontractor coordination.
Depending on the project, this position may be stationed at the main office in Norristown or on-site.
It is possible you may be assigned one project or multiple projects depending on duration and complexity.
This position will report to our VP of Administration and project-assigned Project Management Staff.

YOU MAY BE A MATCH IF YOU

• hold an Associates or Bachelors Degree from a reputable college or university
• have 3+ years of experience of administrative office experience (construction administration experience a plus)
• are highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Bluebeam/Adobe
• are a team player with a reputation of hard work and strong personal values
• have strong written and verbal communication skills
• can be trusted to hold yourself accountable
• are acutely organized to meet tight deadlines
• are self-motivated and able to work independently
• maintain a positive and professional attitude under pressure
• communicate effectively and clearly with others
• disciplined in managing and executing multiple tasks and assignments
• are detail-oriented and focused with strong planning skills
• take initiative and offer strong problem-solving skills
• are comfortable with a level of ambiguity that comes along with each project that varies in what would be considered project support
• are innovative and seek to find improved solutions on processes & procedures
• have experience with Procore Construction Management Platform (not required but a plus)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• collaborate with preconstruction to manage a mobilization checklist with your project team
• lead the administration of construction subcontracts, licensing & insurance via Procore & Docusign
• manage the compliance process on a daily basis
• interface with trade partners, suppliers, & engineers, owners & architects
• monthly project reporting & documentation
• various day-to-day administrative support throughout the construction project
• coordinate with project team to manage a project closeout checklist and manage the closeout process through archiving
