Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle GoldenGate Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data replication, integration, and migration solutions using Oracle GoldenGate. You will play a key role in optimizing performance, ensuring high availability, and overseeing successful deployments across complex enterprise environments. Your expertise will be essential in driving real-time data integration efforts and maintaining seamless, reliable data flows for critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and Implement GoldenGate Solutions: Design and implement Oracle GoldenGate solutions for real-time data replication, integration, and migration across various enterprise systems.
Replication Design: Lead the design and execution of data replication strategies for data warehousing, cloud migrations, and ensuring high availability across on-premise and cloud environments.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (including Data Engineers, DBAs, and Cloud Architects) to deploy and optimize end-to-end data solutions.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor the performance of Oracle GoldenGate systems and resolve replication issues to ensure minimal latency, high availability, and consistency.
Troubleshooting and Tuning: Leverage your expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data consistency to resolve complex data integration challenges.
Mentorship and Team Support: Provide mentorship to junior team members, assist with training, and offer ongoing support for GoldenGate implementations and best practices.
Documentation and Best Practices: Create detailed documentation of architecture, configurations, and deployment strategies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
Hands-on Expertise with Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication, integration, and migration.
Strong experience in designing and implementing data replication strategies for cloud and on-premise environments.
Expertise in performance tuning and optimization for high-availability and low-latency replication systems.
In-depth knowledge of data consistency principles and troubleshooting techniques within Oracle GoldenGate environments.
Experience with data warehousing, cloud migrations, and data integration projects.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to deploy end-to-end data solutions, ensuring smooth project execution.
Proven ability to mentor junior team members and share expertise to improve overall team capabilities.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially related to data replication and performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle databases and other database platforms (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for implementing data replication in cloud environments.
Certification in Oracle GoldenGate or relevant Oracle technologies is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation in data replication workflows.
Experience in managing high-volume data integration and complex enterprise environments.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
