Join our water infrastructure team where Tetra Tech has been ranked as #1 in Water by Engineering News-Record for 20 years consecutively. Our Texas Water Group is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team in Houston. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical, management, and staff assistance for a variety of infrastructure-related projects, primarily involving the planning and design of sustainable designs/stormwater pipelines.

Your Role:

Assist with the execution of projects from conceptual planning phases through final plans, specifications, and estimates, bid packages, and construction support services.
Write technical specifications and technical reports for infrastructure-related projects for stormwater pipelines and facilities.
Maintain existing client relationships and help develop new project opportunities.
Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
Identify alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other disciplines.
Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.
Achieve financial targets in relation to project profitability and utilization.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
5+ years of experience in civil or environmental field.
Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, registered in Texas, required, or able to obtain licensure in Texas within 6 months.
Valid Driver's License with and acceptable driving record.
Background will ideally include related project work in water infrastructure.
This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more
Candidates should be skilled in managing multiple priorities, organizing time and projects, tracking budgets, and meeting deadlines.
