Job Overview:
We are seeking a PowerBI/Joyn Consultant for a remote contract position. The consultant will play a key role in dashboard/report development using PowerBI and Joyn, with a focus on delivering high-quality, insightful reporting and data visualization solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Dashboards and Reports: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business needs.
Utilize Joyn Platform: Leverage Joyn for data integration and reporting as part of the overall dashboard/reporting strategy.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Optimize Data Models: Ensure that the data models are optimized for performance and scalability, focusing on business intelligence best practices.
Data Analysis: Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing of dashboards and reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Documentation: Provide detailed documentation on dashboards, reports, and data models for reference and future use.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in Power BI: Proven expertise in developing Power BI dashboards and reports, with a strong understanding of data visualization best practices.
Experience with Joyn: Hands-on experience with Joyn for data integration and reporting.
Data Analysis Skills: Strong ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard/report performance and data inconsistencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Power BI Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience with SQL and data modeling in relation to business intelligence tools.
