First Presbyterian of Houston, an ECO Presbyterian church, is seeking their next great director of student ministry to lead a staff and volunteer team to serve their 140+ dedicated middle and high school students.
The student ministry, along with the church, has a strong reputation within this vibrant, dynamic city.
With a new senior pastor taking the helm a year ago, the church is embracing the opportunity to discern imaginative new ministry strategies to serve students in today's rapidly changing culture.

140 middle and high school students engage in Sunday morning or midweek discipleship opportunities on a weekly basis.
Students have especially enjoyed the seasonal trips offered by the ministry to build relational connections and rich memories.
Along with the rich traditions, the staff acknowledges the current opening as an opportunity to step into a new chapter, innovating ministry to meet the changing and challenging needs of students in today's culture.The Ideal CandidateSuccessful candidates will be theologically aligned with the essential tenets of ECO, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a calling to invest deeply in students for the long term.
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with three to five years of demonstrated success leading student ministry and supervising staff in a large church setting, along with relational prowess, a collaborative spirit, and a heart to build something new will thrive in this role.Key Responsibilities
