We are looking for:

Syensqo is seeking a skilled Global Automation Engineer - Controls to join our global team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for PLC upgrades, working closely with IT teams, senior stakeholders, and integrating systems to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
The role will involve adding instrumentation, running projects, and managing capital budgets efficiently.

Design, implement, and oversee PLC upgrades across various locations.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide solutions.
Integrate PLC systems with MES for enhanced manufacturing operations.
Add instrumentation to existing systems for improved data collection and analysis.
Lead and support projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Manage capital budgets effectively, optimizing costs and resources.

You will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming, upgrades, and system integration.
Strong understanding of MES systems and their integration with PLC controls.
Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets.
Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel internationally, as needed.

You will get:

Competitive salary and benefits package
The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,360 to $129,200 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes a sales incentive plan (variable annual bonus).

Additional Information:
(Preferred)

Certifications in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
Experience working in a global team environment.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in controls engineering.
