And we want you.We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort.
We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) aircraft.This position is onsite in Fort Worth.Avionics & ElectricalDevelop Electronic Modules utilized in the control and monitoring of various systems on-board the aircraft.
Tasks include circuit design, PC board layout, software design, verification and integration on Bell Helicopter products.What you'll be doing as a Electronics EngineerAssist with the development, design, testing and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board modules for aircraftApply electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to functionally test and troubleshoot avionics/electrical modules or systemsAssist with validation of electronic circuit design concepts using SPICE softwareDesign printed circuit board layouts using Altium design softwareUtilize VHDL to modify and maintain Programmable Logic DevicesAssist with preparation of engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authoritiesAssist with preparation of functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assembliesQualificationsSkills You Bring To this RoleSoftware programing experience with C program languageExperience with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) integrated circuitsExperience with Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD)Programing experience with VHDL and VerilogFamiliarity with the application of aerospace standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-454) or similar industry standards.What you need to be successfulAt least 5 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or related fieldBachelor's degree with a Major in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.What we offer you in returnYou'll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)120 hours Vacation time12-13 paid holidays per year6 weeks parental leaveTuition reimbursementCompetitive salaryComprehensive health insuranceOn-site clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy, and licensed counselorAccess to more than 11 Employee Resource GroupsAnd so much moreIt's time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
