The visual journalism position would work alongside our team of reporters in creating visual content to tell hyperlocal news stories. Visual content includes photos, videos, audio and infographics. Heavy emphasis on video and building our audience via social media to grow our primary website and newsletter audiences.
This position is in partnership with CatchLight. The corps member will be a CatchLight Local Fellow and along with the host newsroom, be supported by the CatchLight Local Visual Desk.
Salary and Benefits:
$45,000-$70,000, depending on experience.
Robust full-time benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401k match and a generous PTO package. Laptop provided by company and approved business expenses, including cell phone use, reimbursed.
