Windows Engineer is required for a leading Quant Research firm who have recently moved to a new office in Downtown Dallas.
The organisation is a data-driven organisation that uses near-infinite computing power to deliver world-leading research in the financial field. You will join a key infrastructure team that has underpinned the success of this incredible organisation, backed by 20 years of success.
What they're looking for: Expert level Windows fundamentals
Strong Infrastructure as Code commercial experience
Advanced PowerShell, Ansible and Python experience
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Good Microsoft AD management exposure, including DNS, PKI, DHCP
Strong VMware/vSphere virtualisation experience
Other experience includes Hashicorp, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
What you'll do: Maintain, optimize and enhance a huge windows-based infrastructure
Upgrade current applications and research/implement cutting-edge technologies
Manage patching, deployment, etc. of software deployments
Automate Windows build and decommissions using Ansible and Jenkins
Manage the Microsoft remote infrastructure
