Senior Options AssociateOffice Location: Jersey City, NJ or Dallas, TXAbout the Team & Role:

In this position, you will play a crucial role in reconciling equity trade breaks and ensuring the accuracy of all options trades and positions against OCC using the ENCORE system. You will rigorously review and reconcile options expiration, exercise, and assignment activities for our clients, handling both standard and non-standard scenarios with meticulous attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and approving options instructions, calculating high-value exercise scenarios, and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues. You will engage in daily clearing operations, manage collateral, and support auditing processes while employing research strategies to address market data challenges. Additionally, you will collaborate with developers and project managers to identify and resolve system errors, driving efficiency and automation in our operations.

Reconciliation of Equity Trade Breaks.
Reconciliation of all options trades and positions vs OCC using ENCORE. Rigorously review and reconcile all options expiration, exercise and assignment related activity, both standard and non-standard (OCAs), in a timely manner for all clients.
Meticulously review and approve all relative options instructions and declarations from correspondents while simultaneously calculating high value exercise/assignment scenarios as well as dollar cost extensions to inform clients in a timely manner.
Collaborate and communicate efficiently with all clients, departments, venues, and executing brokers to ensure recon documentation outline any resolutions.
Develop, collaborate and employ various research strategies on investigating a multiplex of market data to provide resolutions and guidance on issues impacting clearing operations and reporting.
Engage in daily clearing operations including account reconciliation, stock loan mark-to-market processing, OCC cash and security collateral management, LOPR review and auditing, corporate action processing, and bilateral hedge program estimate calculations.
Identify and develop strategies for resolving in-house and third-party system errors and processing issues alongside developers and project managers to help scale business needs, automation, and maximize efficiency.

What You Bring:

3+ years industry experience
Series 7 licensed, and willing to take Series 99. Preferably with Series 4, if not candidate must have strong knowledge of Options trading and/or clearing.
Strong understanding of Option clearing and settlement preferred
Strong data analysis skills
Basic code reading skills needed to understand DDS FIXML
Strong collaboration skills to work with international colleagues.
Ability to work in time sensitive and high-pressure environment.
Capable of escalating issues effectively and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills.

Base pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. This role is also eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus plan.
