Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry and a proven track record of scaling products from prototype to full-scale production. This role is critical in ensuring our manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the production team to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations.

* Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet company objectives.

* Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

* Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

* Work closely with the engineering and design teams to transition products from prototype to full-scale production.

* Develop and implement scalable production processes for new products.

* Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.

* Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including regular audits and inspections.

* Recruit, train, and manage production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

* Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure the timely procurement of materials and components.

* Develop material plans to ensure a smooth production process.

* Monitor and report on key production metrics, including efficiency, output, and quality.

* Use data to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

* Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Experience

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry; robotics industry is a plus.

* Proven experience in scaling products from prototype to full-scale production.

* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

* Experience with quality control and assurance processes.

Skills

* Excellent leadership and team management skills.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.

* Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management.

Nice to Have

* Knowledge of robotics manufacturing processes and technologies is a plus.

* Understanding of automation and robotics systems in a production environment.
