The Position :
As aBusiness Development Manager at Eclipse Automation, you will be instrumental in identifying and securing new business opportunities for custom automated manufacturing solutions. Focused on high-potential accounts within sectors like Medical Devices, EV Transportation, and Consumer/Industrial Products, you'll collaborate closely with team members to drive strategic growth aligned with Eclipse's vision. This role offers the chance to work on transformative projects, establishing Eclipse as a leader in automation and innovation.
What You'll Be Doing :
Conduct in-depth market research to identify and qualify target accounts with high potential for custom automation solutions.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for targeted industries, aiming to expand client relationships and secure new business.
Lead the proposal process, utilizing Eclipse's CRM and sales tools to deliver timely, high-quality proposals that align with customer needs.
Represent Eclipse at industry events, showcasing our capabilities and building brand presence.
Engage consistently with key accounts, gathering feedback to ensure satisfaction and exploring new opportunities for project advancement.
What We're Looking For :
An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales within custom automation or related industries.
Prior experience in the Medical Device, EV Transportation, or Consumer/Industrial sectors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A highly motivated self-starter with CRM management and negotiation experience.
Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada, up to 25% of the time.
