Purpose:

The Program Specialist II provides support to assigned programs; assists with overall program coordination and event planning; manages EH data repository, program records, and database, including coordination of program data collection and analysis and report generation using extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel; assesses metrics for evaluation of program success, identifying and suggesting improvement opportunities based on data; manages application processing; handles complex reports; serves as an information resource on administrative operational methods and processes; develops procedures for complex or specialized functions; assists in recruitment activities in support of the program's goals. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Manages and monitors assigned program operations, including:

Tracking and management of the requirements of the students in the program,
Directing the collection of program data including analysis,
Managing data repository, software system, and internal systems,
Overseeing the processing of EH applications,
Working with communications to manage assigned program websites,
Assisting with recruitment for assigned programs
Other duties as assigned.

What we need:

Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience.

What is helpful:

Technical software skills and experience
Previous work with undergraduate students
Familiarity with accessing and tracking student data would be a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others;.
Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
