About the Role:

The CT Imaging Technologist will play a crucial role in our Imaging department, ensuring efficient workflows and optimal use of resources. You will perform CT scans, adhere to safety standards, and provide imaging services that assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Conduct and document CT procedures following industry standards.
Utilize advanced CT equipment and maintain a thorough understanding of human anatomy.
Communicate effectively with physicians regarding relevant patient information.
Implement radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff.
Participate in a call rotation for added support.
Assist in various departmental roles as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or higher.
Completion of an accredited radiology program by JRCERT or equivalent.

Experience:

Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in performing CT procedures.

Licenses and Certifications:

Certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by Texas Medical Board.
Registered Technologist with ARRT and post-primary certification in Computed Tomography required within 6 months of hire.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
