Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all functions within the unit during designated shifts. Working closely with the management team, the CNC supervises nursing care, serves as a key resource for staff, and champions our organization's values to enhance patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitates admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient care.
Assesses the quality of care services in the unit, collaborating with management.
Fosters a teamwork environment focused on improved patient outcomes.
Engages in service recovery efforts to uphold a patient-first approach.
Executes nursing strategies to boost employee engagement and operational efficiency.
Participates in the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
Manages staff schedules and oversees labor allocation per patient care needs.
Helps maintain inventory control and manages supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN in an Emergency Department.
Preferred 1 year as a Charge RN in an Emergency Department.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 months.
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 60 days.
Trauma Nursing Core Course certification required within 1 year.
Registered Nurse license is mandatory.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days.
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification required within 1 year.
