Purpose

To provide the Manager of Elevator Services with administrative support. This will include calendaring, maintenance of our work order management system (UT Works), developing SOPs, and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Working in a Work Order Management System to keep operations running.
• Assisting staff as needed with various administrative tasks and calendaring.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree. Three years coordinating or administering a program. Strong computer skills. Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Have knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System. Ability to work as a strong team member with excellent customer-oriented communication skills. Three or more years of previous administrative experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills for high-level correspondence. Ability to work efficiently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding organizational, prioritizing, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Five years or more of experience coordinating or administering procurement, budget programs for an organization. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field. Experience with UT systems, programs, and software such as UT Works, DEFINE, and Tableau. Experience in general building maintenance, operations, procurement, contracts, building systems, and construction processes.

Driving Required

This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).

• The work hours are from 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. - to be discussed with the supervisor.
