Software Developer

Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a Software Developer to join our Intelligence and Law Enforcement (I&LE) team. You would join our team to support a law enforcement program that engages with clients and end users to design, create, deploy, migrate and maintain digital solutions that are transforming the way law enforcement and intelligence communities handle, process, analyze, visualize, and translate information into actionable information. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support Noblis internal research and development programs focused on developing and integrating state of the art AI/ML algorithms into practical user facing tools.

On our team, you will:

• Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize the performance, stability, and distribution processing of systems

• Participate in code reviews, both as a reviewer and a submitter

• Work in an Agile environment facilitated by tools like Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, Teams, and Outlook

• Improve your knowledge of software development best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related technological domains

• 0-3+ years of experience

• Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python (preferred), Java, Typescript, JavaScript, C

• Proficient in at least one of the following database technologies: PostgreSQL (preferred), MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB

• Understanding of software testing and quality assurance best practices

• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Proficient with git and git workflows

• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship

• Ability to obtain clearance at the Top Secret with SCI

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with one of the following front-end frameworks: Vue.js (preferred), React, Angular, Prime NG - material framework

• Experience with one of the following back-end frameworks: fastapi (preferred), flask, express, Spring Boot

• Ability to learn and work on different parts of a software stack.

• Expert knowledge of python

• Top Secret with SCI

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range

USD $57,240.00 - USD $89,505.00 /Yr.
