You will join a team developing state-of-the-art general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces and with human tools. It is designed to work alongside humans, mobilize to human spaces, and manipulate the world around it.

JOB SUMMARY

Apptronik is a leader in humanoid robotics, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology to enhance human-robot interactions. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Fleet Management team in Austin, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on developing and optimizing a Fleet Management solution for Apptronik's humanoid robots, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency in various environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions for Fleet Management of humanoid robots.
Develop client-side software on robots to enable real-time monitoring, tracking, and communication with the fleet management server.
Integrate sensor data and telemetry information to optimize fleet performance and operational efficiency.
Develop APIs and interfaces for seamless communication between Fleet Management software and robotic systems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high quality and reliable software releases.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Fleet Management and robotics.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
Experience with developing IoT applications.
Familiarity with client-side caching and caching databases (Redis).
Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and independently as needed.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is a plus.
5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the field of robotics or Fleet Management systems.
Experience with Agile methodologies and practices is desirable.
