Job Details Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.
Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
Demonstrate leadership abilities and act as a clinical resource to students and staff technologists.
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring safety for self and patients.
Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff.
Job Requirements Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging including Surgery and Trauma.
Previous Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
Schedule Information Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.
Floating may be required to any Centura location within sixty (60) miles of the original assignment location.
Unit Specific Information Maintains compliance with all State, Federal, accreditation and hospital regulations and standards.
Additional Details Float assignments may include duties outside of original assignment job requirements in accordance with Centura policy.
