Acuity is blended acuity and ratio is 1: 5 - 6.
"Blended acuity" means that it is a mix of med-surg, telemetry, and step-down patients; however, primary level-of-care is telemetry.

Job Requirements Years of Experience REQ: 1
NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained w/in 2 years of start date)
Bedside Dysphagia screening competency (on file)
Minimum 1-year experience working in a certified stroke center / stroke unit
Familiar with current Stroke guidelines and performance measures for Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic strokes
Schedule Information Hours:
Shift: Nights 3x12
Every Other Weekend required
RTO must be included in submittal
Unit Specific Information Unit: Tele Advanced Heart Care (AHC)
Additional Details Meditech experience preferred
Assessment tools: Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST)
