Depends on the start date.
Can be given block scheduling as long as the needs of the unit are met.
Schedules are out 6 weeks at a time.Staff do every third weekend.
Depends on the contract.
Every other weekend typically for contracted staff.
Weekends are considered Friday/Saturday/Sunday for nights and Saturday/Sunday for days.Rotation ½ on ½ off for holidays.Unit Specific InformationUnit/Department specific orientation:

18 but only able to staff 10 max at this time; all private rooms.Nurse:

Pneumonia, Rehab, UTI, general post op, pain control, general medical, aspiration, fractures, dementia, falls, etc.
Rare peds (typically needing IV fluids).Are RNs required to titrate drips?:
Yes, for a short period of time, but not common practice.Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
None are common, most used is Cardizem.
