Job Details A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ICU nurse for a travel assignment.
The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, and hold an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance (2 max attempts) and there is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation.
COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
Job Requirements 2 years of experience required.
Active BLS certification required.
Active ACLS certification required.
Active AZ license or compact required.
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance (2 max attempts).
Must pass a pass/fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation.
Schedule Information Every other weekend required.
Could be every 3rd weekend.
Work into permanent staff rotation for holidays.
Unit Specific Information Ratios: 1:2 ICU & 1:3 MS/Tele
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Could be every 3rd.
Scrub Color: Navy.
Tele: GE Monitors. Must be able to interpret EKGs.
Vents: Yes
Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Intensivist 24/7
IV Team: No
RT 24/7: Yes
Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
Floating: First to Float to tele or the monitor room
Floor specific orientation; 2 shifts on the floor.
Additional Details ACLS, BLS; Auto-offer based off of Clinical Prescreen.
Dysrhythmia Exam through UNA is required 24-48hrs prior to signing contract. MAX ATTEMPTS IS 2 - NO EXCEPTIONS, NO 3rd ATTEMPT ALLOWED FOR ANY REASON.
If they do not pass in 2 attempts, they will be a DNU for CSH AZ and CSH Sacramento for 6 months.
There is a PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation. If they fail they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months.
