This position will float to various mental health units throughout the hospital (Pedi, Adult & Geri Psych).Years of Experience Required:
2 years minimum.Skill Sets Required:
Trauma informed, patient-centered, and verbally capable of de-escalating patients.
Proficient in using automatic medication dispensing system (Omni Cell); proficient in electronic health records documentation, preferably EPIC; proficient in the use of psychotropic medications and side effects.Clinician to Patient Ratio:
Unit specific.
Pedi Psych is:
1 to 3.
Adult & Geri Psych is 1:
7 or 8.Patient Population:
Children Ages 3-17, Adults 18 - 65, and Geriatric Adults 66+.EMR (Charting System):
EPIC.Floating Required:
Yes, to all behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHU.Rotating Shifts Required:
Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p & 7p-7a).
