Additional Details 203 bed level III trauma center that was newly constructed in 2010.
Primary specialties are general, GYN robotics, orthopedics (total joints and fractures), ortho spine, and vascular.
The OR is open for scheduling from Monday-Friday. Add-on procedures are accommodated in a 'late area' that runs daily from noon-7pm.
New technology that is available at Franciscan Health Lafayette includes:
Mako Orthopedic Robot and Stryker Navigation, 2 DaVinci Xi robots, updated Stryker endoscopy equipment, Stryker Neptune 3 in every OR, new OSI Jackson and orthopedic tables, new Medtronic Stealth S8 and O-Arm, and much more!
Construction soon to begin on new Hybrid 10th OR suite!
Our department has a wide variety of experience levels. We have had 6 employees retire in the past 3 years! They had over 200 years of experience between them!! This speaks to the culture of our organization and the commitment to our employees.
