The Correctional LPN Nurse at Claiborne County Jail is responsible for delivering patient care, administering medications, and following established treatment plans in a correctional healthcare setting. This role requires critical thinking and emergency intervention skills, working under state guidelines and in collaboration with healthcare providers. Open Position: LPN Nurse
Schedule: Mon - Fri (2pm - 10:30pm)
Sign-On and Retention Bonus
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s)
Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
Follow through with established treatment plans
Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
