Merchandise Inventory Coordinator - Theme Park - Full Time Year Round

The right Merchandise Inventory Coordinator checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.

The Merchandise Inventory Coordinator performs analysis to replenish products and forecast sales resulting in consistent inventory flow from suppliers and internal warehouses to retail locations within various Dollywood Parks and Resorts properties.

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Evaluate sales and inventory level data to determine product replenishment quantities at store level for assigned properties/categories
• Key enter sales orders for replenishment and/or determine transfer quantity between warehouses needed to maximize revenue
• Evaluate sales and inventory level data to recommend and execute supplier reorder quantities within parameters set
• Perform business analytic functions to forecast inventory needs and schedule product shipments to support revenue goals
• Under direction of Leadership and Buyers, serve as Liaison to suppliers providing purchase order copy, delivery tracking, coordinate onsite service visits and other business-related functions
• Provide details of vendor non-compliance issues to Buyers
• Establish, key enter, utilize and maintain min/max levels to increase efficiencies within reorder and replenish processes
• Monitor for need and/or execute data cleanup and cycle counts to maintain accurate database
• Support other areas and locations within all properties during key times by operating POS, replenishing and organizing backstock in effort to provide high level of service to hosts and guests
• Partner with Inventory Control to identify and execute plan for slow selling products

• High school diploma or equivalent required, College degree in related field preferred
• 3-5 years of retail operations experience required, 2 years of experience analyzing and troubleshooting retail business-related data preferred
• 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Office products required, working knowledge of Pronto Inventory System preferred
• Must possess strong analytical, organization, creative problem solving and trend tracking skills
• Must successfully complete offer background check and drug screen
