Description
Middle Tennessee Traffic Management (MTTM) is seeking a dedicated Traffic Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role involves managing the daily scheduling and coordination of personnel, equipment, and resources to ensure the seamless execution of traffic management projects. If you have at least one year of experience in scheduling or logistics, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
•Schedule and Assign Resources: Develop and manage daily schedules for traffic control crews, equipment, and vehicles.
•Monitor Operations: Oversee job site progress, making necessary adjustments to schedules to ensure smooth operations.
•Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for client updates and special requests regarding job site logistics.
•Problem-Solving: Resolve scheduling conflicts and last-minute changes, such as employee absences, weather delays, or equipment issues.
•Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to safety protocols, DOT regulations, and company standards.
•Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of schedules, resource allocation, and time tracking.
•Collaboration: Work closely with management to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements
Qualifications:
•Experience: Minimum of one year of scheduling or logistics experience (traffic management or construction industry preferred).
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency in scheduling software and tools (e.g., Bree, Paylocity, or similar platforms).
•Familiarity with traffic control operations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols is a plus.
•High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, operations, or a related field preferred.
