Sales Representative, Architectural - Design Build

Our nationwide team of consultants, provide professional consulting and in-field project support services to architectural, construction, and owner/end user clients with the objective of demand generation through promotion and implementation of ASSA ABLOY Openings Studio software platform and related professional services for design, specification, construction project management and facility management.
In this role, you can picture yourself as a vital consultant to the architect, contractor, developer and design team.
You are given the freedom to navigate your path to achieve success in the market.Your goal will be to drive positive, sustaining relationships with key influencers and to create brand demand through educating, facilitating, and promoting ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions.

Key areas you will contribute in this role include:
What you will be doing
You will work alongside a committed team of professional consultants who are focused on providing specification support and services to many of the top architectural firms in the country.
You will serve as the point-of-contact for the architect's education, specification, client satisfaction and technical support needs.
You will be responsible for architectural development, project tracking and ultimately gaining approval for our internal team of writers to prepare Division 08 door and hardware specification documents.
You will promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value-added professional services.

You're a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator.
You can work independently but believe in teamwork.
Your background includes a College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as:
architectural design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar).
Industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or construction management, will be considered in lieu of degree.
Working knowledge of Autodesk® Revit® or GRAPHISOFT® Archicad® is a plus.
You have the ability to travel upon request within an assigned territory and able to perform responsibilities in a home office environment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of sample and display material for sale presentations.
