Position Summary

A key player on a creative team, the Product Development Coordinator has strong

problem-solving and task-management capabilities. They thrive in a fast-paced

environment; they provide critical support in achieving the company's goal of launching

high quality products. Works closely with creatives to structure processes that takes

"ideas" to "finished goods". They also will have a passion for data-driven decision-making and a willingness to dive deep into product data to identify opportunities for improvement

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:

Provide pre-development support by gathering insights from surveys, product reviews, competitor analysis, google trends, etc. and presenting to the product team.
Operate within the project management system (Wrike), effectively managing projects through to completion, interacting with Quality, Creative, Supply Chain, Finance,and Marketing teams.
Provide regular status reports to the Senior Product Development Manager regarding project milestones, deliverables, issues, etc.
Responsible for product setup and the creation of wiki pages, UPCs, shipmarks, etc.
Liaise with and communicate product specifications to impacted departments (Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain etc. )
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

University degree or equivalent in experience in a related field
Strong project coordination skills
Proficiency with general Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
Team player that collaborates well with others and can manage multiple priorities
Independent worker who demonstrates initiative
Ability to adapt and change in and work in a dynamic (and exciting!) environment
Proactive problem solver

Work Environment and Travel Requirements:

Works in a well-lit, ventilated and climate-controlled office environment with routine office equipment; some equipment has moving mechanical parts.

Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office environment.

Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air (up to 25% if remote).
