Job Requirements

Job Posting: Software Engineering - Cloud Platform Engineer, AWS TechnologiesLocation: Remote (Candidates must be local to Nashville, TN, with occasional office visits)

Estimated Start Date: 12/31/2024
End Date: 07/05/2025 (with high probability of extension)
Pay Rate: $37.00/hr.

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in 24/7 production support engagements and be proficient in AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, PySpark, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.

Must-Have Skills:

AWS Glue, Lambda, PySpark, RDS, S3, CloudWatch (3-5 years of experience)

Responsibilities:

Provide 24/7 production support
Work with AWS technologies including Lambda, PySpark, Glue, Step Functions, RDS
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Terraform, EKS, Java, Spring Boot, Liquibase, Linux
Healthcare domain knowledge, especially Medicare/Medicaid plans/platforms

Requirements:

Flexibility to work in shifts
Software Engineering education with AWS tech stack expertise
Local to Nashville, TN (Remote with occasional travel to client locations)
Industry experience in Healthcare is a plus

AWS Lambda Administration: 4-6 years
NAS Architecture and Design: 4-6 years
Batch Architectures: 4-6 years
PySpark: 4-6 years
AWS Glue: 4-6 years
