The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the application and support of industrial pumps and pumping systems. Our Inside Sales team provides direct support to our external customers and internally by assisting in all aspects of the successful input and completion of quotes, orders, and application support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a solid mechanical aptitude, including a thorough understanding of pump application, technical support, and troubleshooting
Be comfortable working with various computer, email, and phone applications, and a willingness to learn our ERP system - Infor SXe, and our CRM - Tour de Force
Process customer quotes, orders, and provide technical support for distributor and agency products
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal employees regarding, but not limited to, pricing, order status, tracking information, order revisions, and technical support
Accurately process purchase orders to various vendors to satisfy customer order requirements promptly
Have a strong capacity for multi-tasking and organizational skills
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment, display high levels of punctuality and dependability, and possess excellent attention to detail
Be both a self-starter and a team player
Work well with others
Other projects and responsibilities assigned by the Branch Manager
General Knowledge Requirements:
Ability to recognize different types of pumps and pump applications
Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic applications
Previous inside sales or technical support experience in an industrial sales environment
