PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Supervises and coordinates activities of the production departments including press, assembly and welding functions to meet production schedules and quality standards by performing the following duties.

JOB/TASK FUNCTIONS:

The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.

Supervises, coordinates and prioritizes activities of production personnel to meet customer, plant and management requirements.
Interprets specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
Ensures effective utilization of manpower to minimize overtime requirements.
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Observes workers and machines to detect errors or malfunctions and orders corrective actions.
Ensures daily communication of relevant events is completed daily from shift to shift.
Maintains production, quality and timekeeping reports and records accurately.
Examines products for adherence to specification and processes for adherence

to standards.

Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).
Troubleshoots Production and Quality problems with Production (5Why), Tooling and Quality personnel.
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Performs activities of workers supervised.
Directs and leads CI improvement projects/meetings.
Direct, lead, and maintain the team's 5S excellence and adherence.
Ability to communicate with large groups (present in department meetings, training, plantwides, etc).
Continue the growth and learning process of his/her team members through sharing knowledge and best practices.
Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.)
Able and willing to work any shift assigned, weekends and overtime
Regular and predictable attendance required
Directs all NCF product and schedule to make parts useable.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties.
Keeps work areas clean and orderly.
Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills

Responsible for reading and understanding the IATF16949, ISO9001:2015 and ISO-14001procedures located at K:/winapps/data/TS Team/Quality System Documentation

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years of supervisory experience with an understanding of welding, stamping and automated assembly process.

Required Skills Required Experience

Qualifications:

Project Management Experience with enterprise projects
Experience with imaging projects and/or Financial Process Automation projects, preferably Kofax products
Experience with Business Process enablement and projects, including ERP integration
Experience with the pre-sales role for professional services
Experience managing a team of projects managers and consultants
Track record of achieving professional service revenue goals.
