Job Details We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Certification Requirements ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required for certain units.
BLS - Basic Life Support certification is required for all staff members.
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification may be required for certain units.
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure certification is required for certain units.
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course certification is required for certain units.
HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement is required for all staff members.
State License 1 Verification is required for all staff members.
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) is required for all staff members.
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam is required for certain units.
Competency Exam is required for certain units.
Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Float every shift and be assigned by the supervisor at the time staffing is done.
Schedules are done based on the needs of the hospital.
Ratios: 1:6.
Years of Experience: 2 years of experience are required.
First-timers are accepted, but consideration is given to candidates with more experience.
Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
Certs required: BLS.
Is on-call required? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Consideration is given based on the needs of the unit.
Locals accepted: Yes.
Pending License accepted? No.
RTO Restrictions: Some holiday work is expected if contracted over the holidays.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
Special Requirements: Cerner experience and experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity are required.
Compliance Details: Scrubs are Royal Blue.
